First Half Game Thread!

So far this team looks a lot like last years team. Poor pass coverage, can't put pressure on QB, can't get stop on 3rd downs,too many penalties, Tommy can't pass, Does anyone remember how that turned out?

Not a great 1st half - I like running the ball but D needs to be better and still WAY too sloppy

Fresno state isn't very good. Our coaching staff just has no passion. Pussyfooting around in this game. Should have went for the knock out early but tried to be as vanilla as possible

fresno state has 3, 3rd down conversions in a row, but Nebraska's db's dance very good after plays on first and second down.

This is why moving the chains is so important. Convert a damned 3rd and 2 and you can finish off the first half in strong fashion. Stupid penalty followed by a low-percentage pass, and Fresno is right back in the game.

I guess worse case this might actually help recruiting. The coaches can say, hey look how bad we suck. You come here you will play right away.

I was convinced before last year that Mike Riley was really good at maximizing the talent he had at OSU. Just like last year, the opposite seems to be true. Awful.

We could have had them put away in the first half and we just shoot ourselves in the foot. Stupid mistakes!

So far, nothing looks different. Sloppy, TA throwing jump balls, no rotation on the lines (DL looks gassed), can't put away an inferior team, crappy refs------rinse and repeat.

I had a feeling this was going to be a closer game. We have had good flashes on both sides of the ball. Fresno is playing hard though.

We can't let them hang around though, need to put this away. If we aren't careful, well, you know what can happen.
