congrats offensive line. Your sucky play just caused us to lose our first string QB, making it impossible for this already borderline Huskers team to win.

Oh for sure, I'd take him in a heartbeat. But you know all these guys just want to hire the first guy that can put together a complete sentence and a win vs Rutgers.
As depressing as NU football is and has been for several years, Illinois offers a reason for optimism. They were a hot mess two years ago. They hired a good coach and have turned into a sound, quality team In the 2nd season.

as bad a football player at any level as I've ever seen
really shocking to me, but he's got no juice at all.. I know girls with more juice than that kid.
I thought he looked ok at times in the spring games, but under the big lights the kid is an absolute failure. They have given him several chances too, but each time he has folded like a cheap tent. It's sad to see from a young man. I don't want to see him take another snap either. At least now everyone knows I guess.
Furthermore, I'm now a bit disappointed in MJ for not intervening in the offense. He just let everyone give up. That to me, is unacceptable. He tried playing multiple guys on defense when he was trying to fix that, but I think they should have tried another QB today. There was no harm in doing that, and he didn't. I don't like the taste of that.
