Pete Nance, who had his best game of the year against Rutgers, is out indefinitely with an illness. Expect an Indiana-favoring crowd today, the Hoosier faithful really showed up.

Avery is flying solo tonight because — get this — they only had room for one of us on a jam-packed press row tonight. IU brings the media with them, that’s for sure. With the weather like it is, it turned out to he a good night to stay off the roads for me.

Taylor looks out of it right now. Not making shots and has had trouble securing the ball multiple times.

Man... we would be half-way decent if any of our guys could ever make a damn shot. This putrid shooting, especially to start games, is getting real old.

Same with Turner he can't make any shots. I guess in reality no one's making shots right now
I think other than our two makes, the rest of our shots have been from 3. Maybe we should try a few more 2-pointers.

That was an athletic put back dunk by DP. Impressive!

NU is 3 for 11 and 0 for 5 from 3. Yet another slow start for the Cats.

But that Pardon putback — mercy!

This offense is awful. Why not get Greer in there to run some plays, or set up a horns set or a pick and roll?

If we played ugly, but found a way to win, that would be ok. If we lost games still, but played a pretty style of basketball, at least that would be tolerable. But this losing games while playing as ugly as we do is just really hard to watch.

Two great shots and an air ball. Falcon looks rusty as heck on D, but nice to have him back on the court.

Gaines looking good.

Indiana packing the paint might trail off a bit with a couple more made NU threes.

Really wonder if the rims in WR are regulation. Everybody shoots poorly in this new arena. Weird. I want someone to Gene Hackman them and show me.

Wow... coaching! Coming out in the 1-3-1 after the timeout was genius!!

Injuries. Doesn’t take much to throw off the mechanics. Just ask Tiger.
Yeah... he's clearly hurt. You can see he is just not as explosive right now which really affects his jump shot because he really uses his legs on that jumper.

Law and Taylor a combined 0-9. Yuck. Come on fellas... if the shots aren’t falling, try something else to get yourself going. Get to the line, maybe?

Falzon’s D looks very rough. He make good plays, you can see the experience an awareness, but he’s out of sync. I’d guess that’s part of why he hasn’t been playing. Also, a full recovery is far superior to an extra player subbing for a few more games.

all just my opinion of course.

So happy for Falzon! Great to see an upperclassmen play with confidence and show the young guys how it’s done. It would be an incredible asset to have him come on strong and give us another shooter to open up the floor. His movement doesn’t look that bad but Shon did just say he can’t move well on defense which is presumably why he hasn’t gotten on the court.

No Greer in the 1st half. Is he dressed, or are two of our first years out?

Don’t know if it is a curse or what, but boy the Cats sure have a hard time keeping guys available. The best ability is availability, and once again a challenge for the Cats.

It is also great to see Falzon so obviously having FUN out there. I hope that becomes contagious. The shots will start falling for others.

He got in there for a couple minutes. He just doesn't add anything when he's in.
