First-half thread for NU vs. Michigan

This was a Herculean task to begin with. Now, with Law out...let’s just say my expectations are not high.

Well... this is gross. I don't expect us to win, but I expect us to score at some point.

No one doubts that this group is scrappy, but this has been a Sisyphean first half thus far.

The offense had been better than I expected so far. Kopp is having a good game and I hope that the absence of Law means more Pardon touches in the post.

Benson looks completely lost on the court.

Man, Barret Benson just hasn’t developed. He was in for about five seconds before drawing a foul. He’s getting worked in the post by Teske, and now he barely hit the floor on a 3.

Man, have we struck out with 4-star recruits. Let's hope Kopp breaks that string.

The pick and pop is such a basic play that every team runs. You'd think Pardon and Collins would figure out a way to defend it better.

Kopp did some nice things. I like him getting as many minutes as possible the rest of the year to catch up to college speed.

Pardon's working his butt off.
