We have more depth, but not on offense. We only have a couple guys that are true offensive threats, and it kills us when our best one goes down. We don't have enough skill to recover from that. (And that doesn't even include Falzon who would be a huge help this year.)

I hope we can put in a solid effort in second half and then just "flush"this game. No one would beat Purdue tonight with the way they are shooting.

I heard that Purdue is down to 8 scholarship players as well. Is that true?

I really hope you guys aren't being overly optimistic with the perfect storm crap.

They are shooting lights out and getting loose ball bounces. We aren't.

Brown also had 2 shot clock violations. Playing like a freshman! Did have a couple nice buckets though.

There's a former walkon (Eiffert) that was awarded a scholarship before the season started so if you count him as a normal scholarship player then we have 9 right now. If not then 8 is correct. We kicked a player off the team over the weekend so our depth is really hurting right now.

Not sure where NU is going to get the 4 wins..
Stop watching. What a ridiculous statement. They're 18-4 and they have one horrible half. Because of one bad half where the opponent is out of their minds we now can't find 4 more wins? Are you and TheC brothers?

I watched them play Nebraska and they weren't hitting on shots then like they are today. Purdue is a very hot and cold team, we got them on a hot night when they're playing up to their potential.

I'm plenty relaxed. But going 4-4 in the B1G from here on is not a likely thing the way I see it.

This is the first egg we've laid this year, and it's understandable why. Losing Taphorn and Lindsey takes away a lot of our outside shooting capability, and being undermanned doesn't help shooting either, with players playing longer minutes than they normally would.

Jesus. Recruit more players.
