Maybe Fitz thought we had them on their heals and didn't want to give them a chance to reset. Plus, it was 3rd down, so an incomplete pass there would have meant a FG anyway on the next play.

Spot on. Calling a timeout there would have been stupid for multiple reasons.

REally hope we can come out of halftime with a TD drive. Then lean on JJTBC to wear down their D. Seems that is Purdue’s issue this year, their D wearing down.

Nice end to the half. If we can score to start the second half maybe we can avoid another cardiac sequale.

Gotta recognize Purdooo for planning well in first half, especially on D vs the run. Now Cats gotta just put it away.
