good for that program. they have spent a long time being down as well. they have a really nice team and a good recipe to make a run

- play with confidence an swagger
- a nice go-to stud in stevens
- two old physical big men
- 2 nice shooters in dread and lundy

good for the conference that Rutgers and PSU are making some noise this year. i really thinking NU will make strides in that same direction.

Was at Bryce Jordan today. Cats left Penn State have way too many open three looks in the first half. We were actually fortunate they didn't hit more of them. There were 11 three-pointers for Penn State and two for Northwestern. That's 33-6 right there in a 16-point game, not to mention a 10-5 edge at the foul line. Collins needs to bring in another guy who can create his own shot. Wheeler was pretty effective at tying up Buie, and the others had trouble getting open. At least Nance had a pulse today, and Young had some good moments in the post. Cats got killed at times on the boards, though — mostly a lack of physicality.
