Money probably. It looks as if Dan Mullen is going back to Florida and maybe Schiano to Tenn? Tenn fans are outraged. I read they are potesting it and security had to be called to the Athletic Office.

I can't imagine FSU wouldn't match the money. Could be because he has a mess with the coaching staff. This way he does not have to deal with it. Surprised this is what Tennessee came up with. Settling?

I know, I thought at first maybe he was just trying to get more money out of FSU and I would be surprised that FSU would not match an offer. Seems like a step back for him but there could be more to it than we know. Strange move to say the least.

Not surprising. They had a letter of agreement. Seems that his time at Penn St played into it a bit.

That was my thought. They are settling which will be a big mistake. They'll be right back in the same mess again. I'm sure they can lure a quality coach to the job.
