Without telling your favorite fishing spots or giving away certain places. Anyone have any good trout fishing stories, good tells, or how big of a fish you caught in day. You know the ones that got away, you can make them as big as you want. Lol. Or had a bad experience with a game warden. One of stories I have as I fishing standing in middle of stream I heard some crackling and popping up in a tree in a distance. Next thing I know I seen top part of a black bear running up a hill. Then my next hole I caught my biggest trout of the day. But one thing about it. All the years I’ve fished up in the mountains I’ve never encountered a venomous snake. Not to say I could possibly have walked by one and didn’t see it. And luckily I wasn’t bit. Usually water snakes what I usually see.

I was up in the park the other day doing some fly fishing and went a stretch of about 30 minutes without a bite or even seeing a fish run from being scared. I had just about given up and thr idea of dinner on my mind when I rolled up on a hole and an 11" brown gave me a good fight on my 6' rod. I still bushwhacked through the laurels at that point because I knew it wasn't going to get any better than that.

Went yesterday up in the mountains. Caught 5 keepers. No wild. Just stockers. Had some to get off like usual. And threw back couple to small to keep. I didn’t think it was too bad of a trip consider the amount of rain and the stream was up. 1st part of the morning it was muddy. Always fun just to get out.
