Scares me that the line has stayed at 6.5 and trending to +7 to a team that I thought we were even with.
Team must be as hurt as we all think.

All other things being equal the frigid temps help NU.

NU averages nearly 1 yard per carry better than us on offense and we both give up exactly the same YPC on defense.

Average December high and low temperatures in Lincoln NE are about 9 degrees colder than New Brunswick.

Only problem with that is the cold isn’t an impact here or there this year...if it were end of January perhaps but these kids are not going to be worrying about the cold... they will be motivated I hope to prove a point... win a game against Nebraska...win a game at HOME... complete a regular season Covid 19 free...finish up with 4 wins in conference... establish the structure for future Rutgers football teams.🪓🪓🪓🪓 GO RU!!!!

Probably the uncertainty of who the QB is going to be as well as the overall health of team... will not be easy for Rutgers ... can we win a game at HOME.. that would be a nice gift to these guys.
We are banged-up for sure. Is there an injury report out yet? A healthy Brandon White a will be a big boost against a running QB like Martinez.

Nothing “fishy” at all about the line IMHO. Huskers get back 20 guys from COVID (EDIT: heard this on BTN apparently NOT the case) and Martinez is exactly the type of QB Greg has historically had trouble stopping. Gamblers are aware of both.

*** this is NOT a prediction (For those of you who can’t figure it out on your own :chairshot:)

Go bet on Nebraska then. We'll all be laughing at you later tonight.

If it is about the QB, they may well be missing that when Art was in good things tended to happen. This is not to be construed as disparaging Vedral. If Art can air the ball out, our running game will be the recipient of a looser D from Nebby.

Nebraska beat Penn State and seemed to hold their own against Iowa and Northwestern. RU qb situation is iffy. Frankly, it seems like every game involving teams that are not Ohio State, Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, and maybe Wisconsin are a complete mystery.

Line is high I thought closer to a pick. Vs penn st one of the betting sites posted that 80% of the $ was coming in on RU but the line kept going up.
