Every game I watch a hit to the face is a Flagrant, but not when UK is getting hit it seems. Some of these called Flagrants are mild compared to one where we are hit and its not called Flagrant.
You're exactly right. Double standard and I'm not one to blame refs but they haven't been consistent. See JJ layup for reference

Correct, an opposing player could walk up to a Kentucky player and bust him in the mouth and a double technical would be called even if the Kentucky player didn’t retaliate.

This makes me as mad as the overuse of flagrant fouls. Double T’s when one player pushes another player, in the opposing teams huddle is about as bad a call as there can be. It’s such a ***** way out as opposed to just calling it on one player and then telling the coach why it wasn’t a double T. Stand on your own 2 feet.

In the tourney, we got hit 8/9 times in the head with 1 flagrant and 1 reg foul in act of shooting. Maybe the most egregious was Mitchell's shove to Mo's face that didn't even draw a foul, much less a review.
