Every game I watch a hit to the face is a Flagrant, but not when UK is getting hit it seems. Some of these called Flagrants are mild compared to one where we are hit and its not called Flagrant.
You're exactly right. Double standard and I'm not one to blame refs but they haven't been consistent. See JJ layup for referenceEvery game I watch a hit to the face is a Flagrant, but not when UK is getting hit it seems. Correct, an opposing player could walk up to a Kentucky player and bust him in the mouth and a double technical would be called even if the Kentucky player didn’t retaliate.Every game I watch a hit to the face is a Flagrant, but not when UK is getting hit it seems. "The Kentucky player hit the opposing player in the fist with his teeth"Correct, an opposing player could walk up to a Kentucky player and bust him in the mouth and a double technical would be called even if the Kentucky player didn’t retaliate.
The UK player tried to eat his fist."The Kentucky player hit the opposing player in the fist with his teeth"
This makes me as mad as the overuse of flagrant fouls. Double T’s when one player pushes another player, in the opposing teams huddle is about as bad a call as there can be. It’s such a ***** way out as opposed to just calling it on one player and then telling the coach why it wasn’t a double T. Stand on your own 2 feet.Correct, an opposing player could walk up to a Kentucky player and bust him in the mouth and a double technical would be called even if the Kentucky player didn’t retaliate.
