Unless Oweh leaves, there’s just no more room at guard, IMHO. Not for a guy that expects to start Day One. And this guy wants to be PG1 for whichever team he goes to, and we already have our PG1 with Lowe.
Even if we lost Oweh to the NBA, we need a wing scorer to replace him, not another guy who is best with the ball in his hands.
An addition like this might look good on paper, but it’s the kind of thing where it could cause more harm than good.
I love having a rotation of Lowe/Aberdeen/Johnson at the PG.
And a rotation of Oweh/Aberdeen/Johnson/Chandler/Williams on the wing is excellent as well.
Sometimes more is less. Add too many guys and minutes become an issue.
IMHO, the only reason for us to add another rotation guy is if Oweh goes to the NBA. Then if that happens, I want another wing scorer, not a PG.
