Over the years, a lot of information about how to navigate has been posted. I thought it might be handy if the combined board wisdom was centralized and pinned. Tips only please. (I know, that's what she said.) Gripes can be saved for live broadcasting frustrations.

I signed up years ago when it basically just started. I wasn't really a big wrestling fan, but I was a big Penn State fan. Now I am a big wrestling fan. My knowledge of wrestling came from FLO and later this board. If you have good internet.....I'm certain you will be happy with FLO. Enjoy

everything has gotten worse since their 'nextgen' came out. i don't even think there's an operational dashboard during live events anymore, just need to refresh all the time or set up alerts and cross your fingers that they come through.

I think it is much better to navigate on my ipad or computer than on the Apple TV app. They need to update the Apple TV app. Not sure how other streamers work with Flo.

@LemonPie Was always my go to source for streaming advice and Flo. It's because of him, I "borrow" a username and password from others. The key is to find those that have flo accounts solely for a sport that isn't during the same season as wrestling so you're not kicking each other off. "Borrowing" from Flo dirt racing guys works pretty well for me. Lmao

What if there was no Flo?

For example, I watched Sidun’s matches at Powerade- without Flo, tournaments like this would be inaccessible unless you travel to the venue, or rely on someone uploaing their phone video to youtube.

The benefits outweigh the glitches. And most of the time it works.

Just signed up finally too for them breaking the duel meet record. I would recommend adding the app to your smart tv. Than you can access two mats at once.

Must is wifi on both and same wifi, just found that out.

If airing on some other channel, big 10+ and such, you can still use flo for mat assignments, they are up to date, makes big tournaments easier to watch.

Flo has certainly had it's issues over the years, but I've watched endless duals and tournaments that I wouldn't have been able to see otherwise. Still haven't canceled, so I suppose I'm pleased with their service overall. Lol

Roofing has crystal ball flo has everything else. Rokfin is best above all else for high school and recruiting, numbers too. I dont have a rokfin account anymore as they dont have enough content that pertains to me. I do miss it but not worth the money for me. Willies sister is doing women's rankings which is cool, but that's about the time I stopped subscribing.

Go to flo arena in the browser and scroll down until you find the event then click on the square on the right by the information icon and it will give you the old tournament dashboard.

When Rokfin first came out, I thought that it was going to compete with Flo but you can’t really compare the two services. Flo streams almost all the premier wrestling events that linear TV, BTN+, or ESPN+ don’t carry. I’m not sure what Rokfin carries now as I canceled it about 6 to 12 months into the pandemic when it’s minimal content dried up as we started coming out of the lockdowns.

Ha, i just suck it up and subscribe these days. I do remember when FloBowling used to offer a monthly sub back when Flowrestling only offered yearly. That was a good one.

I don’t know if anyone remembers a short-lived era where Trackwrestling offered a PPV model for certain tournaments, but you would create a passcode as your key to unlock access. But it wasn’t username specific, so you could guess hundreds of generic, wrestling-related passcodes and hope one hit. I’m sorry if I ever kicked anyone off their stream 8 years ago.

Me too. Their feed kept cutting out at the most inopportune time. I am normally pretty chill, but poor video at most matches infuriated me to no end. I mean if it happens on occasion that is one thing, but when you begin to expect it, that was too much for me to pay for. And as you stated, they don't apologize or even mention it for that manner. It was always business as usual.

I was hesitant to send Flo money after the whole very petty non-compete law suit with Willie. It just left a bad taste in my mouth.

I somewhat reluctantly bought the one month subscription last month and timed it perfectly to get all of our duals plus some tourney coverage. For $30 I view it a bit of a ripoff, especially in comparison to the value you get vs other streaming services that cost 1/2 - 1/3 as much. However, getting access to a concentration of PSU duals live, unavailable otherwise, flipped the switch and I am glad I did.

I can't justify the annual for the amount of content I would consume year round and of course I pay the penalty especially during freestyle season. If you can deal with losing out on the live events, some of that content becomes available on YouTube eventually.

I have great Internet speed but still have hit a glitch here and there, so that is another issue. A premium price demands a reliable feed, and Flo has been getting better for years but still hasn't solved it.

So as long as Flo buys PSUs non conference early season dials, I will probably relent, until of course they read this and greedily try to jack the monthly rate up to $50. I won't go there

OK, now I understand the Flo frustration. I did get to see Barr finish his tech, but only by a nanosecond. Cochran ended ten seconds early. That Mat 3 announcer had to be high on something. Bring in the pros from Nebraska.

yea but with flo streamer it takes 10 minutes to watch one match!
