Florida game thread

[Deathstar]

I do not know how to handle winning a game in the second half. It has been so long that forgot how to make positive posts…

[Wulliecock]

We're back,baby! 4 more years!!

[I4CtheFuture]

Softer than charmin pass defense, letting them right down the field for a TD......

Confused on D, have to use a Time Out. THERE's the gamecocks we know and love.

[KingWard]

Can we hang on to this?

[I4CtheFuture]

Oh yeah. Fumble. We got one. Holy cow........

[Deathstar]

UF suddenly realized that we have no pass defense after trying to run the ball for three quarters…

[Gamecockman]

We got this game.

[Deathstar]

Damn playas! Cocks are UP!

[I4CtheFuture]

Just stupid. 3rd and 1 and we throw deep.

[I4CtheFuture]

stupid, stupid, stupid

[Henry322]

Just stupid. 3rd and 1 and we throw deep.

Amen.

[Deathstar]

We were doing ok then just stupid!

[Blues man]

Who are these guys?

[kidrobinski]

And there’s orange and blue in the parking lot….

[Go Gamecocks]

How dare you say that in any South Carolina game!!!!

We were their "trap" game.

[Go Gamecocks]

Sellers on fire!

[Go Gamecocks]

Whelp....put some ice on that hot seat.

[uscjunkie]

If the defense had a clue all year, this team would be amazing!

[Blues man]

Sellers has been awesome. Now someone tell me our backup QB is getting ready to come in.

[KingWard]

If we had OU's defense, we would be unbeaten. But lots of other folks could say the same thing.

[Deathstar]

If Ray was still AD Beamer would get a 5 year extension for this game.

[I4CtheFuture]

Just will not put Woods into the game.

Next year will be a rebuilding year too with an inexperienced QB for no reason.

Today is typical of college football in general and South Carolina football in particular, and today I am HAPPY AS HELL for the players, the coaches, and for Shane Beamer. They played and coached like it meant something today and put some stank on it to boot.

Totally fair comment.

Only thing that miffs me is knowing with this team, we really should be 5-1, ranked and climbing.....

They owed it to the better elements of our fanbase.

[Deathstar]

Can UF score 26 points in two minutes? I don’t know, it could happen…

[uscjunkie]

Where was that 2 point defense last week?

[I4CtheFuture]

Sellers still out there. Stupid.

[Deathstar]

Well, good job Cocks, we won!

[KingWard]

Where was that 2 point defense last week?

We never got it organized.

[uscjunkie]

Yeah not calling a timeout was unforgivable!

[Hoganman1]

This was a huge win for the Gamecocks. I had actually left this forum due to all the negative comments. I see the naysayers are still here. Anyway, like the announcers said, Beamer is the first coach to win in the Swamp not named Spurrier. That is one hell of an accomplishment. No one knows how we will finish the season but there are some winnable games left on our schedule.

[sclawman77]

Spurrier got to witness a show today

[Forkcock]

Nice win today!

[Johnnysurf]

Spurrier got to witness a show today

I hope he left feeling sour and disappointed

[TheRoo]

DC White silenced some of the criticism with that performance today. The defensive plan was spot on.

[TheRoo]

Offensive play calling was solid too. More power, less gimmicks at key moments.

I must say I was a little concerned about the game plan when we attempted several direct snaps to the fullback early on. Glad the gimmicks were held to a minimum.
