Florida or Houston, who do you prefer

It's clearly Houston. Why on earth would we root for an in conference Rival to win it? Helps them with recruiting, gives them bragging rights, etc.
I do root for the conference to do well vs other in tournament, but SEC has proven itself this tourny to be the best, so go Cougars.

Somehow we have people acting like this is a win for us if a team from our conference wins it. It’s not. I wouldn’t call it a loss, but it ain’t a win.

No one from the SEC roots for us. I’ll treat them all with the same respect.

Houston all the way for me. I cannot get pass the allegations from this season. He just looks creepy to me.

I hope Houston wins. I would like to see Sampson get one before he retires. It would be Florida’s 3rd title if they won. Houston kept UT from the final 4 and Duke from winning it, so I think we owe it to them to cheer for them😉

What's interesting about Houston is they'll be the one team in Non Conference to play the Top 4 SEC Teams. They played Auburn and Alabama early in the season and Tennessee in Elite 8. Now for the National Championship they get the SEC's best in Florida.

Florida will have a "Road" game with Houston have majority of support much like Tennessee in the SEC Championship game in Nashville.

Florida hasn't lost to anyone outside the SEC all year.

I picked Florida to beat Duke in my Bracket but I don't mind Houston at all and if anything I had doubts about them all year as I didn't like how they played offensively but their toughness/grit have come through. Also a great friend is a big UH fan so glad he and his family are happy.

I can't lose because Duke is out of this game and just sit back and watch an enjoyable National Championship game.

Exactly! I wasn't about to watch the Final if Duke was in it, Will watch now

True. Let me rephrase. The team from the toughest conference, that has played hard games week in and week out, should deserve it more.

I think Florida will win but i would prefer Houston. Only one SEC team, Kentucky, should be king of the hill. It's been too long for our rightful place back at the top as the greatest program of all time, leader of our conference, etc. Unfortunately, in today's era, especially younger people have short-term memories. So Houston can win and then they had their moment and that's it.

Houston.

Florida has two titles and was our biggest conference rival for about 15 years.

Houston prevented UT from reaching a Final Four. Houston saved us from decades of Flagg slurpage. Houston once lost a title on an air balled jumper that ended up being a lob pass. They are due. I hope it happens for them.

I'm all-in on Houston. Sampson is a damn good coach that deserves a title on his resume. He's built that program from irrelevance to something important again and is one of the reasons Houston is in the Big 12.

Plus, Houston getting a title would erase some of their heartbreak in the 1980s with Phi Slamma Jamma, especially the NC State loss.

Stop belittling teams when they win against UK, blaming the refs all the time,saying you're their superbowl, The SEC is out to get you like the boogeyman, etc...and take an L with grace, then maybe somebody from the SEC will root for UK.

Stop embracing victimhood.

Clown? Thats ironic. I gotta ask, did you attend FSU's circus class on their campus or does making a fool of yourself come naturally without instruction?

Be honest....you liked driving that little car with your 16 buddies, didnt you? Or maybe you didn't have the seniority to get behind the wheel.

I'm fine with either one. Guard play key in tourney so I would say Florida but pulling for Houston and Coach Sampson

If UK was in the finals, the SEC fans would root for the other team.

Yes, FL is a team that I could really root for and enjoy..................if they were KY. But, they are an SEC team with 2 titles already and a young coach. I'll go with Houston FTW.
