Florida was ranked 21st in the first AP Poll back in October. Was curious about that because they've arguably been the best team all year and there was virtually no mention of them in the preseaon Final Four/National Title conversation whatsoever. I'm cheering for Houston to win it tonight but unfortunately I think the Gators close it out for their third title.

I hope we win it tonight. Most of us felt the ranking was about right starting the season but did feel there was definitely a possibility of being better than that. I think this team came together better than most of us thought. I think the more optimistic fans were probably thinking an Elite 8 appearance but most fans would have been happy with a Sweet 16 at the beginning of the season.

It would be good for not only the conference but Kentucky as well for Florida to finish it off.

You guys have a hell of a team, I wish we could have stayed healthy to try and meet ya again. Played our worst when it mattered most.

Hey, great tournament for the Gators, GFever !

Just want to wish you guys the best luck, I'm torn between rooting for Houston ( used to live there, lots of my friends for them as well) and the Gators. I'd like to see Sampson finally get the monkey off the back for himself and Houston, but I think the better team is Florida, I had picked Florida and Houston in one bracket and had Florida winning.

Either way I'm cool with how it ends up. Good luck in the title game, and best wishes, GFever !

I figured Florida to be a Top 10 team at the start of the year. They did seem a bit under valued, considering the return of Clayton, Richard and Condon; the emergence of Haugh and additions of Martin and Chinyelu
The question revolving around Florida was at the pg spot, where Pullin has been so good the year prior. It was an unknown how Clayton would be on the the ball. That’s been answered.

I mean the SEC already proved it was the best conference by far, even with a Houston win IMO.
Yeah but if Florida wins it. It cements it in history. If they don’t people will go “Huh? Oh yeah I guess the SEC was good that year”.

I honestly don't care who wins tonight. I am leaning Houston though. Give Sampson one before he exits stage left. I think tonight's game is a white knuckle game for both teams and IMO decided by 5 pts or less.

Houston 87-86

Feels like both teams kinda flew under the radar a bit until near the end of the regular season. Or, at least neither team got a lot of media love. Man, Florida has every ingredient needed and plays great. Really well rounded team. Houston is just a massive mountain you have to crawl over somehow. Not gonna be sexy, but Houston will out work and out defend you. Gonna be a great game! Gators by 4.

And I'm like many here; Go SEC, but Go Kelvin as well. Win/win.

Go Houston. I could not care less about whether the SEC's 2025 greatness is remembered or not. I don't hate Florida like some other SEC schools but they are still a conference rival so screw 'em.

I won't be crushed or stoked by either winning, but I find myself slightly being for Florida. I'm just happy it's not one of those years where I hate both teams, or am too invested in one of the teams not winning. I think it's going to be a great game, finishing out a great season.

Don't need Florida with a 3rd championship.

I'm positive Golden was creeping on those girls and the admin looked the other way.

it still feels like they’re under the radar, lol. they were a top 5 team, won the sec tourney and made the ff as a 1 seed.

Only way I would want an SEC team to win anything is if they are playing Louisville, Duke or UNC.

Since they aren’t, screw ‘em!!

Houston by 50!!!👍
