UVA going for the early knockout. If they get a sizable lead, will be hard for most teams to come back on them.

Doesn't look like Virginia and Villanova are losing today unfortunately. Hopefully they get picked off tomorrow.

With Virginia you MUST expect shot fakes on the offense. I haven't seen a team do that so much like they do. So you must stay on your feet. This would be a team where we would have to worry less about blocking shots and worrying more about position defense and rebounding. May be easier said then done.

Florida State looks terrible. Seems like a bunch of unforced turnovers. Can't do that against Virginia.

Florida State is tough to watch on both ends of the floor. Offense doesn't move the ball well, they just pass a couple of times and let the only guy on the team that can drop 30 in a game shoot 3 pointers, and Florida States defense leaves a ton of open lanes to pass and drive. To be the second tallest team in the country, they have some abysmal post defense.

I didn't know that the late Mel Turpin had a son who plays for Florida State. How good is he?

Virginia is defending well as usual.

Not good enough for you to notice that he was out there without the commentator saying so.

He's not like his papa.

And Moon, his last name is Bookert.

Virginia will still win, but Florida St. has made it more interesting in the 2nd half. Seems like the best way to attack Virginia's defense is to drive it right at them, as Florida St. has had some luck doing that.

You attack UVA and be ready to pass the ball out of the double team in the low post and you can score quite a bit. Their D is predicated on the other team being afraid to attack and just passing it around and jacking up a bad shot at the end of the shot clock. You have to force the issue...yeah..you might turn it over some to start, but it will lead to success later on. Duke and UL attacked it, Miami attacked it, etc, and those teams had some success.

Am I the only one that is thoroughly unimpressed with Virginia? I think our size and athleticism would kill them.

Two possession game...

I'm not surprised Anderson played. I've seen guys go climbing 10 days after an appy. I don't think he'll contribute much this week, but by next week he could. They're good period, but better with him.

UVA will win by 5 or so but this does nothing to make me think UVA won't lose to whoever they play tomorrow which gives Wisky the 1 seed ( NOT that care much either way ) and makes UVA hopefully the 2 seed in our region .

Thanks for the info, did not even know he played.

That is smart by UVA...even if he does not do much or contribute. That shows the committee he is back and will be near 100% next week..which will probably keep UVA on the 1 line no matter what happens this weekend IMO.

Do you realize that Wisky lost to a Rutgers team that was able to put up 67 points on them? Rutgers is the same team that Virginia held to 26 points. You underestimate Virginia far too much. They are a true championship contender team.

Think Virginia is going to lose tomorrow, wouldn't hurt my feelings if Duke was picked off today.

Virginia has held 5 of the last 7 teams to less than 50 pts. I used to like them, but the more I see them the less I do. Just boring *** basketball.

IMO...Nova is the scariest of the bunch, next to us. Dangerous team. Like I said...just my opinion.

Kaminsky did not play, and Jackson didn't in the 2nd half when Wisconsin choked a lead away. That said, they still should have won that game. Rutgers sucks.

I think UVA is good, but I'm not picking them to make the Final Four unless they have a really favorable bracket...and I think they will get cupcake KU as their 2 so I may pick them.
