My gut tells me Z thought it would be easier to follow a coach you know will be desperate to take you, then to actually have to interview with Pope and his staff, or have to worry about sitting in the portal. He's just lazy.

I don’t miss watching Cal’s offense. They can’t even make a layup. 1-11 on layups lol. I remember those days.
Refs on the road getting to Florida. They have bunches of foul trouble with with 12 minutes left.
Fat Cal complaining to the refs every damn possession...throwing his arms up...and when they do blow the whistle in his favor...he still points to the refs that didn't blow the whistle wanting to know why they didn't see it lol

Today would make 5 losses should Florida finish this off. In this conference, I would not be shocked if Arkansas finished under .500. No easy games in the SEC, but CCC being the most incompetent coach in the conference is an advantage for all opponents.
Arkansas is painful to watch but Florida playing awful as well. Just a brutal game.
It is, I mean such firepower. No wonder he told Welch to kick rocks late last year. Who enjoyed hitting 18 3’s and dropping 100+ every game? When you can have a 50-40 barn burner!!!

Florida couldn’t make any threes against us and they can’t miss in Arkansas. Is that because we play better defense or just luck?

He would been great at Kentucky as back up to Butler. but he went for the big NIL money at Arkansas. Which begs the question is the NIL money is going still going to free flow in CalS direction after this season.
I don’t blame him …. But he complains about everything and everyone, about his own players, about the crowd, about the assistants….
Cal has a bench full of the sorriest looking assistant coaches in college basketball. Those guys are unlikely to find another job in college basketball. Their collective knowledge is unlikely to produce a single good assistant coach.
