These guys rocked the house. They have a command on the pace of their songs and how to play them live that could only be achieved by having a drummer as your lead guitarist and singer. Dave Grohl is also the best ever at talking to the crowd. They played for 2 hours and 45 minutes, knocked out every hit, 3 new songs, a Pink Floyd cover, and they played "Miss You" better than The Rolling Stones themselves.
Best jokes of the night after pausing in the middle of "Monkey Wrench" before the yelling part to get the crowd yelling back and forth with the band, Grohl says "Man ya'll are going to lose your f#$%ing voice, I won't lose mine, I'm a professional but you all are doomed". Also gave a shout out to Honda Oddysey's stating " You all probably think I drive a f$%#ing Lamborghini, but Honda Oddysey is where it's at, give me woot-woot, Honda Oddysey's are the real deal".
Never had a rock star who I thought seriously identified with my life and freaking rocked every song hard as he could. I have no idea how he didn't have a headache he headbanged so hard, plus I got to the show early on because they played in downtown Nashville and not on a farm in Nicholasville. Everyone that paid to see Luke Bryan could have seen a real show from the Foo Fighters and actually made it into the arena.
