At one time I used to watch NFL preseason, but no longer.
I may tune in for a curiosity look for a little while but that is about it.

Still is nice to know football is right around the corner.

I don't know how I feel about football anymore. My enthusiasm for so-called college football has definitely waned. I don't know what I'm looking at anymore or what it stands for.

I became alienated from the NFL when it was trending political. That tendency having cooled off, I'm beginning to view it as the only upper-level football that is really being conducted according to its original purpose.

I just don't know.

HS football in Georgia starts August 15th (which is insane). I'm more interested in HS football than the NFL, especially the NFL preseason.

I really couldn't care less about the NFL and my interest in college football (NFL Jr.) is a shadow of what it was even three years ago.

Same when it comes to preseason football. May watch a 1st Quarter here and there because that is when you will see the players that will actually play when the season starts. Have been waiting since February for football. So, I can make it 30 more days. All the other stuff regarding college players getting paid doesn't bother me. We all still control what we spend. Therefore, some young guys making some money doesn't bother me. Last year was one of the most enjoyable seasons in awhile and this season appears to have a lot of storylines to look forward to.

I’ll watch the nfl on an occasional Sunday afternoon for a nap appetizer but that’s it until the playoffs. I’ll watch rattler if the saints are on. Like King the woke stance lost me but I haven’t got my interest back.

College is what it is and we are what we are and I accept that, still enjoy it. Fans still hung on the ‘not recruiting hard enough’ and the woe is me wagons are annoying. One growing byproduct of the nil era to my eye is that ‘teams’ are not as cohesive and unified as they used to be; not us but the bigger programs shelling out the monster duckies and poaching players. I see that starting to fester some.
