Last year we were learning the system used by the high school I've "promoted" to. This year we've implemented that, as well as 4 additional formations and several new plays. We're supposed to have 4 receivers over 6'. That's great for a JV team. Not to mention the bruiser and speedster we have for the 2 back.

Moral to the story: Experience means a world of difference.

I can vouch for the experience thing. I'm coaching an 8U baseball (rec) team and I'm rapidly losing what hair I have left. I have probably 5 kids at least (out of 12) that should be at the t-ball level. It's going to be a long season with plenty of unwinding at home with beer after games.
