For fun - Project Week 2 CFP Poll

This week is going to be very interesting since everyone but UGA, Oklahoma St, Michigan and OU playing bye got a gut check.

Bama loses if LSU had a QB that didnt stand like a turkey in the open field waiting someone to shoot him.

Ohio State like Bama benefitted from bad QB play and a sorry *** FG kicker.

Mich State got its *** kicked today.

Cincy needed a TU goal line fumble to preserve a win and a possible 2 point conversion that could have sent game into OT.

So in your best guess what will the new rankings look like?

1. UGA

2. Alabama - Committee will tell everyone its a quality road SEC win and keep them there.

3. Oregon - beat UDUB by 10.

4. Ohio State - Committee - Great win on the road in a hostile setting

5. Michigan

6. Oklahoma

7. Texas A&M - Committee “ They now have 2 great wins - beat Bama and beat Auburn”. Never mind they lost to Arkansas and Miss State. Jumps 7 spots.

8. Cincinnati

9. Mich State

10. notre Dame

Oklahoma St stays at 11 despite being 8-1 and totally dominating WV. Arkansas enters rankings for beating Miss State. Wake Forest falls to 15-19 range. Baylor falls to 21-25 range

I was thinking that the Spoilermakers get in as the 5-4 team that beat #2 & #3 in the same season, maybe at 8 right behind OU at 7 possibly

1. UGA -Committee- "Why have 2 playoff games this year? Lets just skip to the title game with Georgia vs Bama and call it a day."

2. Alabama - they want to put them number one but they have an SEC team at Number one so its ok. -Committee- "When Bama wins the SEC Title Game we will just switch them."

3. Oregon -Committee-"Just to piss OU fans off"

4. Ohio State ☝ see above

5. Michigan ☝ see above

6. Oklahoma-
-Committee- "Hopefully no other teams lose above them, nobody wants to see a close game in the Playoffs."

7. Texas A&M - Committee “Alabama State Champs has to count for something. We would like to put them higher but that would be too obvious."

8. Cincinnati- Committee-"Why don't they just lose and go away."

9. Mich State- Committee- "We will put them back at 4 if they win the B10."

10. Notre Dame

Ole Miss lurking just below OK St. Arkansas jumps back in the top 25 courtesy of the Miss St FG kicker.

Since the committee rated Oregon over Ohio State because of their head-to-head (and despite their ugly loss to Stanford), I have to assume they will do the same with the Spartans rated ahead of the Wolverines.

According to Palm he has
UGA
Bama
Oregon
Oh St
Mich
UC
MSU
OU

Said OU will not move anywhere. He is probably correct and even said MSU could still be ahead of Mich.

Alabama actually had a quality Home SEC win against a talented, motivated rival who’s fighting for their coaches. Powering through a gritty SEC November, bump up to #1, because UGA hasn’t shown any such grit so far

OU should move to #6. Baylor losing to TCU knocks some of the power ranking off of next week. But beating ISU and OSU should lift us into top 4.

I lost all respect for kirk when he cried like a little girl on national television. Kirk's a weak dick of a man. He doesn't know anything more than Erin Andrews.

You mean, I'm going to stay this color?

Me too. I just posted it as maybe a comparison to what the CFPC might rank them. I can live with being #6 right now but I have a feeling the Committee will keep us at 8 maybe move up to 7.

Herb sucks and he has shown time after time he has issues when it comes to being critical of his Buckeyes. Being objective is not something he can do.

that being said we hear the committee all the time using the “What If” factor. They gave Oregon a pass on the loss to Stanford because the Ducks best defender was out of that game. They have used that term at other times for different teams when it fit there needs.

However when it comes to OU not a word about the defensive injuries that have plagued the defense. Nor the fact of the “What-If” Caleb had started from the beginning. Would those games have been as close - maybe and maybe not but I doubt it.

The bottom line is this committee is self serving depending on what case best fits the narrative they want. They have done this from the 1st CFP on.

What joke of an explanation will they come up with this time? Did they get Chinese delivered why they act like they are mulling a Kangaroo Court decision?
