Even though Liberty is not Power 6, I ran the +/- numbers just to get some insight over what worked for NU and what didn't.
A 5-man combination that stood out was Nicholson/Beran/Barnhizer/Audige/Berry, who outscored Liberty 22-9.
They played about 7 1/2 minutes together in 3 segments. There was a 5-5 period early in the game, then a 7-2 run to close out the first half, followed by a 10-2 run in the 2nd half that turned a 35-34 deficit into a 44-37 lead.
With a 7 man rotation, Ty Berry really responded to the extra playing time. His performance led the team to victory. Audige bounced back nicely and Barnhizer had a solid game. Beran and Nicholson contributed. Boo Buie did not.
Last season, Ty Berry had good chemistry with Audige. Both guys played their best when the other guy was on the court.
