I've seen some people on here calling for a boycott of buying tickets or attending games as a catalyst for change. What are your thoughts about that?

I'm not really boycotting anything. However, I sure as hell will not continue to prioritize my weekends in order to attend something that provides no real entertainment nor does it give me any enjoyment. If that means eating tickets, so be it.

And before anyone whines about this and says I should give them to people who want to go. Trust me, if there were people out there who really wanted to witness what's going on, there wouldn't be thousands of empty seats for every game in our stadium with reduced seating.

I'll be in Commonwealth next Saturday. I think well mosey on down to the seats I can't afford. Things aren't looking good but all of our goals are still possible.

I have mentioned this before. These kids have busted their asses and deserve the support. They can't help the coaching is inept. The other side of the coin is filling the stadium means status quo. Terrible situation.

Yes it is. This is like a bad divorce that's about to happen and the kids are stuck in the middle.

After the first game of the season? It's ignorant. If Stoops fails to make a bowl then you guys can bring pitchforks to the last home game.

The situation is precarious in that it is only the first game and teams can rebound - ala Miszzou and their loss to IU a few years ago.

Although we seem to have the same issues as we have had the last 3 seasons.

I wont give up on the team after one game or the staff.

But coach has lost my confidence with the caveat that he can earn it back but it will take some great efforts.

I am resigned to the fact that a bowl game is going to be very difficult to achieve even if we win the remaining games we should - including 2/3 of USC/UM/Vandy.

I will be ok with that if we give the others a hell of a fight.

A lackluster effort vs UF, not expecting a W by no means, will lead to fans expressing their voice in the only truly effective manner possible - not showing up.

I am on record as saying I hope this staff can turn it around, but as of today I dont see it. Without great improvement this year I'd like to see a change next season so a new coach can start with some good players instead of rebuilding from scratch again.

My lady and I have had season tickets for 15 years and I've been going since Bear Bryant roamed the sidelines ( Alabama's sidelines) and that game against southern Mississippi is the biggest dagger sunk into my stomach yet. For all the things it represents, which IMO is as follows : the end of the Stoops era , ( I like stoops even with his flaws but this forces hands) , it's year 4 and we went backwards and with the loss to Dawson we essentially validate many arguments , It also represents another year of no bowls for UK, it kinda means the world beating recruiting class of Barker and co. we're mostly hype ( unless another coach could develop better) , it means possibly starting over again and the loss of recruits a coaching change usually brings, and for me personally it means no more Saturday tailgates or even really investment in college football on a personal level. I'll bet a few games so I'll watch , but it's different when it's your team from birth.

Much was lost last Saturday for me. Couple all that with Boy George spinning his music in Commonwealth and its a fu€kin torture session for me and my crew. I'm to sad to really even address the issue head on.

Fans not showing up seem to be the only message that Barnhart "hears"...
