You know guys I think he was going for the Obi Wan look. I'm not sure let me google it.
If you notice the cloak and cowl, you can clearly see he is going for "Old Ben" Kenobi. Dont see how it could be otherwise.

Been on a Star Wars kick this weekend due to my toddler being obsessed and going to Toys r us and getting some new Star Wars toys/lightsabers (proud that he picked out a Kylo Ren mask).
Anyways, I started thinking after my brother brought this up to me. Luke Skywalker never did sh.t . I don't think he even killed anybody except that monster under Jabba's palace.

He did defeat Darth Vader and convince his father to change back to the light side. So I'd say he did something.
And oh yeah, he blew up a freakin' Death Star.

But he never killed Vader. Vader died while killing the Emperor. You're right on the Death Star though.
I was thinking of notable kills throughout the franchise.
Obi Wan- Darth Maul, Gen. Grievous, basically killed what we knew as Anakin
Anakin/Vader- Count Dooku, Obi Wan, The Emperor
Both of them did more than Luke did in lightsaber battles.
Err you saw all of annakin/vaders lifespan and a large portion of obi wan's. Over all six movies you only saw a small glimpse of Luke's.
I always thought Luke wore black to keep the viewers guessing about who he'd "side" with when it all hit the fan. It was never a doubt of course, but Lucas wanted to create just enough doubt by making it look like he was "turning into" his father.
Now that he is the King Arthur of the galaxy, it's time to look like a benevolent old geezer. It's almost like he is going for an Obi-Wan look?
