I'm really excited about Giles. Kid looks like a complete baller!! Will he be ready and will he start next year? I say most definitely if healthy. He and Tatum will be a deadly duo

Swimmingly.

Seriously though the thing with Giles is if he'll be good by the late summer schedule. If he can be back in June or July, doves will fly over Cameron.

Anything after and he'll have a learning and conditioning curve through the fall.

speaking of future players is Duke the favorite for both Carter and Bamba or is it a one or another situation?

We all know K rushes his players back from injury just to add to his wins total. Just look at how he treated Amile this season in the midst of another title run. Oh- wait.

It seems as though the folks over at THR think Meeks is hurt and has been a while. This can't be true because HOF Coach Roy Williams would never rush an injured player back to add wins or enhance his chance at a NC. OFC

I like Giles attitude, he's 100% positive and pumped. he's gonna rain on Chapel Hill and I WILL be in the house when it happens.

I love the fact that he has been communicating with Bolden and feels confident about him. Duke will be unstoppable next year with a healthy Giles and Jefferson and if Allen comes back and Bolden commits Duke could be looking at #6.
PG-Thornton, Jackson
SG-Allen?, Kennard
SF-Tatum, Jones
PF-Giles, Jeter
C-Jefferson,Bolden

Coach K would have a great starting 5 and a great bench, depth would not be an issue next year.

Why the continued focus on Bolden? Isn't it more or less established that he will not be a Blue Devil.

And that does not worry me even a little bit because Giles is a man, and Duke is going to be loaded. Allen coming back (which is significantly more likely than Bolden matriculating) would make a strong team even stronger.

Why are people keep saying Bolden want come to Duke?? Its down between basically duke and UK..

here is a recent article pointing out how many bigs UK will have next year its going to be a log jam of bigs and I think Marques is smart enough to know he has more potential playing time at Duke than UK.

""
"It's really just talking with the coaches one last time before I make this decision," Bolden told the paper.

Bolden previously considered Kansas, Oklahoma and Alabama, among others.

Kentucky has a loaded recruiting class full of bigs coming in, including Bam Adebayo, Sacha-Killeya Jones and Wenyen Gabriel. The Wildcats also return Tai Wynyard and Isaac Humphries and likely Marcus Lee and Derek Willis.

Duke brings in forwards Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum and is seeking a redshirt for big man Amile Jefferson.""
