I don't think we'll stub our toe against Fordham. Sounds like a good number of RU fans got tickets for that game. These kids will be energized by a lot of Scarlet in the stands at another teams gym. I remember the game at St Joe's during Wenzel's first year. Our players who suffered through the Littlepage years were visibly motivated by all the Scarlet in the stands at the SJU Field house. Wenzel even mentioned it after the game.

its a dangerous game this time of year coming off a three game stretch where the team was focused playing top competition. SHU is the weak later. Exams come up soon. Its the obvious trap game that no matter what Pikiell says this team still may not be juiced to play them. Its all about the start of that game. If they put them away early then they will be alright, you do not want to come out sleeping and have to come back on a team with a jacked crowd in a bandbox

Going to be a tough game. We’ll get their best shot and the crowd’s best shot.

Legacy 4-year deal from Eddie's time, I believe (2 RAC, 1 MSG, 1 Rose Hill). This is the final iteration. Hope @knight82 is right and many NYC-area alumni make the trip!

Fordham is in the A-10, they aren't Central Conneticut State, we have to give them a game at thier place every once in a while

I'd suggest it'll also be a good learning experience for the team. The young team will be able to draw on this when they go on the road in the future. It also helps the rankings that the selection committee uses to get wins on the road.

Coaching Staff objective for Fordham game is to have team mentally prepared given highs of last 3 games and the amenities (or lack of them) at Rose Hill. Going from playing in raucous environments via MSU @ RU and @ Wisconsin to a game with less than 1,000 fans and HS amenities will be difficult.

Had a nice record going into the Maine game but in looking at their schedule it was not exactly murderers row and there were some close games. I have no problem with us visiting Rose Hill and think it is a nice local game for the fans to travel to involving an historic gym. Wish I could make it.

Coach Hobbs mentioned getting team mentally prepared for game in the Fordham facilities being a task for the staff.

Anyone been to both Rose Hill and the Palestra? Went to the Ivy League tournament in Philly last season and really liked that place. Never been to Rose Hill and sadly can't make it this weekend.

The gym is a mile away from Arthur Avenue. Enjoy the food. Doesn’t get much better.
