Foreman will be trouble next week

He ran over us last year and is steamrolling every defense he has faced lately. If Texas inexplicably tries running Swoopes in wildcat formations like they did late against TT, we had better make them pay for it. We need this win because the opportunity we have in front of us is a top 3 finish in the conference. OSU could very well win all except against OU, so we can't afford to fall into a tie with them. We still have a shot at taking a major step forward with home games against OU and Baylor. Getting past 5 conference wins is another opportunity. None of this matters if we let Foreman run all over us and we can't seal a win next week. A loss makes Bedlam the defacto conference title game while we are looking at a fourth lower-tier bowl since joining the conference.

No excuse for another 7-win season now.

Swoops only got 18 yards total 6 carries against the worst defense in the nation. Not impressed. I could run for 330 against Tech. Texas pretty stats and they still almost lost the game. Just don't turn it over and the win is there.

We know it won't be easy. The size of Texas is a bad match up for us. Just need to score points and hang onto the ball.

Exactly. If they keep running Swoopes, our D has to stop him. If they keep pounding Foreman for 25-30 carries at minimum, they will probably be in this game or leading. We are more capable in a shootout but at the same time, power running games are an air raid offense's worst nightmare because of their ability to chew up clock.
