Former South Carolina QB Tanner Bailey comes out of retirement, commits to Auburn football

Former South Carolina quarterback Tanner Bailey has come out of retirement, announcing his commitment to Auburn Football on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound quarterback originally retired from football in January 2024, coming out of retirement a year later to join Hugh Freeze and the Tigers.
"Everybody that knows me, I'm a lifelong, die-hard Auburn fan," Bailey said. "For me, if you ask the 5-year-old Tanner: 'What's your lifelong dream?', this is probably what it is. It's awesome, I'm super excited."

A four-star prospect out of Gordo High School, Bailey was originally an Oregon commit before decommitting in December 2021 after coach Mario Cristobal left for the same position at Miami. Bailey committed to South Carolina shortly thereafter, signing with the Gamecocks on Dec. 18, 2021, as part of their 2022 class.

Had high hopes for him here. Just got too backed up at QB for him to break through.

Yeah I remember you posting a thread about his "retirement", I guess I beat you in announcing his unretirement, LOL
