I've wondered where we stand with him since his teammate is going to Bama now. 247 shows that Miami and UL is the warmest for him. I don't know how much stock I'd put into that since Miami has turned their attention elsewhere.
That was pretty bad but i wonder if the staff is looking more towards his athletic ability. His playmaking skills definitely do not look Top Notch compared to the other guys.staff may think that his athletic ability would be good enough to take a chance on coaching him up.
what's his story? why is he not sticking with his Miami commitment?

The video is a limited sample but he looks like he lacks the speed and flexibility in his hips to cover in space. He doesn't look like a quick twitch athlete. I'm sure the staff will want to see Ross in camp before they'd accept a commitment from him. We are so deep at safety that I can't see us taking a risk on anyone that is a marginal athlete
He was "cut" by Miami. UK was recruiting him to help secure Jones. That obviously didn't work. I doubt UK is recruiting Ross aggressively.
I read on a Miami site awhile back that he lacked speed and they moved on from him. Seriously doubt he's a take with the small class.
