I’ve got a picture of Tim Allen and Tim Tebow they’re totally different guys but lol
He and his wife were both diagnosed with cancer recently. Curt Schilling announced this, without their permission, on his podcast for views/clicks.

Just when you thought Schilling couldn't be a bigger asshat than he already is...
I know it’s popular to rip Schilling, but with Wakefield I don’t think it was that big of deal.
That's interesting because he immediately apologized after stating it, even mentioned he didn't know if he should even comment on it and was universally told to shut up by everyone associated with Wakefield as a result.
This has nothing to do with his political takes, his defrauding of the state of Rhode Island or his incendiary social media presence. The dude used a supposed friend to drum up interest in his podcast.
Also, I'd understand if Tim told Curt he was dealing with cancer and didn't really specifically say that he didn't want it made public, but that isn't what happened. Curt got the information from Doug Mirabelli who likely got it directly from the Red Sox organization. Safe to assume Doug thought Curt could "keep it in the family" so to speak.
It's ****** human behavior.

It feels like just yesterday he was still in the big leagues for the Red Sox. Had a fine career from 1992-11.
Sad news. Tim Wakefield was a client of my brother's glass business and personal friend of his. Sorry to hear.
Anyone who can consistently get swings on a knuckleball and throw strikes is a legend. I tried my hand at it and would throw an amazing one 1 out of every 4 or 5 tries. A knuckleball is one of the most pure art forms of kinetic human experience.
