Don’t care about the commit but an observation: Danny Sprinkle sounds like a really lame DJ alias in Aurora, IL
I think you are thinking of Wesley Yates of USC. Cannot remember UK recruiting this guy. I could be wrong though.
For a while he was discussed as UK's best wish list candidate for an Oweh replacement. Oweh is returning so no need for said replacement.

Washington seems like a graveyard for college basketball these days. Am I wrong? Not sure what attracts a kid to go there, maybe money and nothing else?

That’s my view and they were awful last year after paying Osobor a big deal.
I'm with you I don't remember us going after him. Then again another recruit going to Washington to be forgotten!
