Also, Bowers hadn't made 8 threes in a row before that. Much more frustrating to have a guy make 9 in a row. Vuck Fandy.

Bowers just brought the ball up and took that shot like it was no big deal. The SC defender didn't expect it. Bowers was clutch in '04, and he always looked even keeled out there.

To this day, if you go into the Colonial Center, you can hear the ghosts of D@A and Brutius from the top row, jumping and yelling and generally acting afool.

A very underrated memory when "Best MSU moments" are discussed, but it was an absolute dagger. Those of us who witnessed it in person will never forget it. No way were losing that game in overtime after that.
