This is not a Dayton Obi one trick pony, as many of my friends in Connecticut say. This is a team built on a foundation of cement. Dare I say reload and not rebuild going forward. I host a college basketball zoom on Wednesday nights and have had Bilas,Vitale,Katz,Hoops Weiss, Pikiell,Hurley and many more as guests. No one except Steve saw this coming. Very encouraging. A little concerned about our depth and would like to see a reliable 8th person emerge but that was a very solid win today.
The reload question will be determined by how the recruiting continues and sticking to Pikiell's philosophy, but he has seemingly done the impossible through the grind of player development of less-than-highly-recruited players who have embraced an us-against-the-world mentality.
As an aside, I still love his line that he would walk the length of the Turnpike to get this job. If he can deliver the dream, Hobbs and the BOG should be prepared to back up the Brinks truck to keep him here.

Welcome back Richard! As long as we're talking about next year (I certainly want to enjoy this season first), it's gonna be hard to replace Geo and Young. We need a PG that is B1G ready next season.
