Week 6 in da Fox Valley....
Jacobs @ Central- This is the game we see if Central is for real. With 4 wins under their belt and a game left with Dundee, they should be playing some postseason ball. Jacobs, on the other hand, with 3 wins, has games with Hampshire and Glenbard East to help secure the 5 wins needed. They could really use a big win here. Strickland and the boys I feel will be ready and help Jacobs to a 14+ win over the Tigers. Big question, will Central's JV play...35-20
Dundee @ Cary- After last weeks tough loss to Huntley, this is a game we need to heal. Another tough year for the Highlanders, this week will add to their suffering. Running clock at half, Cary by 40+
PR @ McHenry- McHenry needs to beat either PR or Huntley to get to 5 wins, I don't think that's going to happen. This week, I believe Crowley and crew will put a few TD's on the board but they won't outscore Samson, nor Gilbranson. I see a running clock in the second half. 56-14
Hampshire @ South- Big last week for South and the NW herald's player of the week Kyle Leva, I would expect that to continue this week vs the Whips. Expect the Whips to be competitive early, but the size of South will be a burden. I see South pulling away and winning by 20+
Huntley @ West Aurora- Battle of two 4-1 teams. WA has not seen the size and speed of this Huntley team, I see the Red Raiders with a 20+ victory again showing strength of the FOX!!!
JV,
PR is the team to beat. I believe they have beaten everyone by 21+.
Frosh/soph-
Jacobs is undefeated. I know McHenry lost to South, Central lost to Hampshire. Cary & PR moved most of their top fresh/sophs to JV so neither are good
