I’ve been a supporter and appreciate him getting us back to the tournament. However, he will never get us past the second round with his ****** *** defense and inability to recruit good guards. ****** *** losses to Ohio St twice, WI twice and Nebraska???? GTFO and take your sons.

I also have been a supporter. The ability to not make any noise in the Ncaa tournament. Just time for someone new to take over.

I'm a Drake fan too, and yes, I would love to see the young Devries on the Iowa bench. We have an old man heading the football program and the men's basketball program. It's time to thank both of them for their contributions and bring in a whole new generation of leadership. It's past time for new blood, a new direction, a new face for both football and men's basketball. Unfortunately, that's about as likely as (fill in the blank.)
I am not sure which is a bigger joke. Fran's huge ego and pathetic March performances or the woke nonsense EQUALITY on the jerseys while he clearly has a double standard for Connor's PT.
Barta will probably give Fran a $25 million buyout for a 5 year extension for getting a 5 seed.
Sick of the political statements too. No one else I think outside of Michigan does that **** (even if I agree with Equality). But Connor is a good player. Not the guy I would rip on.
It's unfortunate Kirk and Fran have such giant egos and are tone deaf. Fran would benefit from taking some accountability and tell us something different than 'No changes'. Tell us the crap defense is unacceptable or that the staff is going to hit the portal hard to find some guys that can bring some experience to the roster for next year or that Dillard is going to retire and bring in a former player who can connect with recruits beyond suburban white kids. It's almost statistically impossible to have 4 of 5 incoming players be white (assuming Braun transfers in). Ultimately I don't care if we have 13 guys from American-Samoa but they have to possess better athleticism than we have seen to date from Fran's recruiting.

How can he look at these teams with their dynamic guards, athletic wings, and multiple shot creators and not get jealous, pissed off or both and want to add those elements to his roster? It's truly incomprehensible how this guy can not address the gaping holes on the roster year after year.
