A longtime analyst for Box Office Theory says Francis Ford Coppola’s big-budget “Megalopolis” has had “the worst presales start I have ever tracked”. The news comes as a new trailer for the film has been made available and can be seen below.

The sample for Thursday night previews in Florida show over 30,000 seats available and only 239 seats sold so far. Awareness of the film is at 19.4% compared to 33.4% for “The Wild Robot” and 48% for “Transformers One”.

It doesn't look that good based on the trailer. I'll definitely watch it based on FFC's track record and the cast. Probably wait until it's streaming though.

I want to see it at the theater (hopefully The Kentucky) because...major spoiler....

There's supposedly a scene where someone in the theater audience stands up and speaks with Adam Driver's character.
