Tune in tonight. Looks like Dennis Smith hurt his knee last night too. I really wanted to see him play. I hope it's not serious.

The consolation game on beforehand features Wenyen Gabriel and Gary Trent Jr. who are both putting up numbers. A few other of our offered guys may be there too, I can't remember.

I was surprised that Frank didn't start, but instead backed up a hybrid PG/3-pt marksman. Frank would be a good player to have. Very similar to Nolan in that he's not ultra-athletic but has bounce, isn't a breakdown guard, and isn't a true PG. He's tough, though, and I could see him playing well along side Thornton......

Yes. I think the comparison to Nolan is not a bad one. Both smaller combo guards who have the ball-handling and size of a PG, but more of a SG game. At the same stage, I think Frank's a bit ahead b/c his body is more filled-out and he's got a more compact, mechanically-sound perimeter jumper -- but obviously Nolan had his own strengths (namely he always had unusually good touch in the mid-range).

That by far was not his best showing, but I'll tell ya right now, this kid is all winner and we want him.
