Son so much. How bout some simple analytics Frank…we go backwards every time he’s in the game. Playing him over AJ and Gray all year is a joke. Frank lets him screw up over and over before pulling him. He yanks Gray for one foul. Wilson is a good player sitting on bench behind Franks son. Laughable and idiotic.

It does look like a man cashing in all perks while he has the chance.

Hey Frank……you ever thought about playing two big guys when you are playing teams like Auburn. How about Leveque and Wilson…or Leveque and Gray…or Wilson and Gray….or Woodley and Gray/Leveque/wilson. Bryant can give us some extra rebounding at the 3 spot. But we get to see Brandenat the 4 spot over anyone who gives us an actual chance. My favorite is Woodley and Branden together. Lol….we can’t even get a rebound with them together and let’s just say it’s not Woodley’s fault. Thank God James Reese is on our team.

I know doesn’t it. The coach who loves to shelve talent under the guise of they dont have great practice habits or they make a few mistakes in a game so he sits them for games at a time. Yet Branden makes mistake after mistake, can’t jump, can’t shoot, can’t screen, can’t dribble. But he logs 12 minutes a game. Wilson hasn’t seen the court in the past two games.

Frank know that coming close to making a tournament and possibly getting GG has given him another lifeline. He can do as pleases the balance of the season without recourse. Livin the dream!

you saw today how Gray and Wilson could help us….he has shelved them both all year…today, he chose Leveque to **** on…never played in second half. I would like to give him a pass on Gray for a few games as he had a hurt hand. But we know thats not true.

If Frank coaches next year, Brandon will be on the team, and Frank will play him.

Haven’t watched a game in years. If Frank is back next, won’t watch a single game next season too. Can’t stand the guy and hate his game.

Maybe they should hire the Ridge View Coach - He can bring in GG and others for possibly Oak Hill Academy - Can't be any worse than what we have and would be on the cheap. The guy can flat out coach.

Your choice. I don't hate Frank. I just wish he could win more.
You’re correct. It is my choice. I never used the word “hate,” but he’s a lousy coach with a crappy attitude who lords over a program in Putinesque fashion that few care about anymore.

Frank is a good man and a good coach. However, I think he is too stubborn and continues to do things the same way with the same results. The only thing I see different this year is that the team is peaking later than it normally does. Generally, by this time of the year we are on a swoon and losing 3 of the last 5.

We didn't win last night, but we had Auburn up against the wall in the closing minutes at their place.

Let's see how the SECT goes. It might be interesting.

Losing our last two must win games doesn't lead me to believe we are peaking.

True, but we are currently looking at losing 2 of our last 3 with an undetermined number of games left to play.

Frank is just not a great coach. His style of coaching is not for 98% of today’s players. I won’t say 100%. Long overdue exit

Al McGuire did the same thing with Allie. It was blatant. Thing is, he had a team that was good enough to cover for him.
Allie McGuire was a pretty good guard during that era. Made honorable mention All-American & picked for a post-season All-Star game

We played both Alabama and Auburn tough at their place. Beat LSU down the stretch.

This is not a tournament team, but Frank got all he could out of them.
B.S. This should have been a tournament team. Frank fell on his face once again at the start of the season.

I don't think it is BS. 7 new players (transfers and freshmen) and only a couple of them can play at this level. Leveque is a mid-major talent not SEC level. Cousinard and Bryant are the only ones that would start for most SEC teams.

Yes, it is Frank's fault that he doesn't have enough talent. But as I said above, it was was Horn's fault and also Odom and Fogler's fault.

It may be time to make a change, but I don't want Tanner hiring any more coaches. He retires in 2024 (or maybe sooner) so let's keep Kingston and Martin until then. Unless you want to drive a stake in the heart of those two programs.

Have to separate Frank's philosophy from Frank's coaching, and, ultimately, the on-court product.

He's got an old-school philosophy and I think we all love that. The problem is, his philosophy does not translate into a quality product. Somewhere between the philosophy and the on-court performance, something is lost.

You can get away with your philosophy not translating into wins early in a tenure when you're building the program around that philosophy. But this is a decade for Frank. Let that sink in. 10 years.

If, after 10 seasons, you're even having the discussion about whether to retain a guy, you have your answer.

I'm sure we'll bring Frank back b/c it's the kind of thing we'd do. Forget the fact that his teams now have an established pattern of playing poor early in the season and then turning it up late in season once the tournament is no longer in play. That leads to the optimistic string of "ifs". If the team can play as well to start next year as they played down the stretch this season. If ____ and ____ and _____ can continue their development. If we can stay healthy. If. If. If.

Cousy, Bryant and Stevenson are all seniors. Let's say we land GG. In my opinion, we won't be any better next year unless the three aforementioned players stay for the extra covid year.

Not nearly as good as Lackey, who gave up minutes to him. They fell off athletically when Allie was in there.

careful, i get bashed every time I say we need real bigs at the 4 spot...not 6'4" Martin guarding 6'8" opponents.

Trust me it’s as simple as ABC. You don’t play short non-athletic non-scoring people against big athletic people. You nailed the exact problem. All Frank needs to do is hire a student manager to keep analytics. We go backwards every time his son is on the floor. There’s a correlation. I think Frank feels this is his last year and he’s going to let his son play come hell or Highwater. Sick of this ****. AJ Wilson and Gray can help us but they don’t get to play enoughTo get into the flow of a game. We stay short against big teams. I’d rather have a J Wilson any day. Poor guy transferred here as a senior just to get **** on by Frank
