"Franklin basically didn't try to score in 2nd half..we threw one pass because it was fairly clear that 17 points were beyond plenty.." 17 points (10 pt lead in this case) is NEVER "beyond plenty.," It is so nice to hear Franklin decided to call off the dogs so early. Why to hear you tell it, Franklin played the second half blindfolded. I never knew a Panther squad to be especially charitable by choice.

The topic is Round 2 Pisgah vs Franklin. I believe the Tuscola thread is in the 3a forum. Tuscola already played Franklin first thing this year and more than held their own, in fact I believe from any perspective won that scrimmage hands down. You aint playing Tuscola again, so I will keep your mind in THIS game. I may well choose to go to this game, (or not, I dont know depending on winter sports schedule I dont have yet) but if I do decide to go, anybody's press box (not just FRANKLIN'S) would be the last place I would want to be unless working. You see, those places are called "press boxes" for a reason. They are for working press and game officials (clock PA spotter radio newspaper etc.) Since I am not paid to cover PHS, and would rather watch any day than work, there is no need to be in that PB, and I will be perfectly content to be anywhere else that I choose to be as a spectator.
Bears man, talked to his parents today. Believe hes going ro be ready. But like the Franklin posters said won't matter which one starts they're still beating Pisgah.

I checked max preps didn't see any scrimmage results. Oh that's right THEY are a glorified practice.. keep in mind we attempted to schedule tuscola in a game that counts..but I guess since they already had one automatic loss ( pisgah)..they didn't want another..

El charo is really good mexican..jaxons near the post office has bbq and great calzones and stromboli..then of course fat buddies and fatz..really good place also is cafe rel right beside hotspot..
Yes typically beating a team twice isn't easy (unless your playing SM..LOL)..WE can talk smack all week...lol that's the good thing about y'all winning...sure makes the week go by faster..but I just feel franklin is the better team this year..no doubt we fully expect a HUGE effort from the BEARS..id expect my PANTHERS to be ready ..and with the winner of this game going to 3rd round...id expect hendo to win and that gives M6 two teams in 3rd round..let's be honest 3rd round is a great season..ABSOLUTELY WE wanna win state and I'm sure Pisgah does but it's been since SYLVA WEBSTER IN 1980 since the mountains last 2a title..
Yeah he's from Rosman .Broke David Singletons rushing record while he was there He put East on the map and has done great at Pisgah.The kids think the world of him and that's what matters.Hope we keep him a while but I also realize he's young and will probably leave when the right job comes along.
Taking nothimg away from coach chappell..yes he did a great job at east and has done well at Pisgah..ill be honest as,far as WNC goes i feel Franklin and Pisgah are two of best jobs in WNC both w great community support..id say both teams think the world of there coaches as is evident by the effort there kids play with...
