Well, if it’s not the players (an intimation, perhaps) it must be the coach. I don’t entirely agree if that’s what Tommie is saying but I appreciate his sentiment.

What is unclear about the tweet? He doesn't believe Frost can get it done here, and thinks he should stop throwing the players under the bus.

Do Frazier and frost have some kind of beef? I mean he is obviously saying that he feels HCSF can’t get it done... but I don’t see Frazier out there coaching either... don’t get me wrong Frazier is still probably my favorite husker of all time... but I don’t get him putting out the negative pub towards our coach right now... both are alumni both were great QBs for UNL, only one came back to try and coach us out of this hell hole....

He tried coaching once and it didn't go well.

It’s a bad look. But it’s clear not all of the fan base, not all of past teammates, not all alumni are Frost apologists. Some it appears to run a bit deeper

I agree, it is easy to criticize when you have not done it. I have coached for 20 plus years when things are going good it is because of the players and when things go bad it automatically falls on the coach, and as coaches we understand and accept this. Take away a few plays and we win the game yesterday, was it coaching or did the players mess up. You got to be in the film room to really find the answer.

Yes, and you also know that goes two ways. Take away a couple of plays and it might not have been close... pick 6 and dropped 50+yd reception comes to mind

Really?? I honestly didn’t even know that he had tried coaching... when and where did he coach at? I could probably go google it but I’m trying to knock out some choirs right now

What he's saying is that he doesn't believe that Frost will get it done. Why are so many offended by that thought?

Tommie is one of the all time great college QBs. But he is also the guy who has been living off his college success for 25 years. Is he bitter that Frost is getting millions to coach NU while he is still charging for autographs and doing stupid local commercials? Absolutely. He is still the "Do you know who I am guy".

Well, he has always been a dick but a lot of people feel the same way that he does. Scott does loving ripping on the players and I get that. They had every chance to win that game yesterday and it seems like they always find ways to lose instead.

Greatest qb ever for the Big Red and bleeds it harder than anyone on the board by a mile. He's telling it like it is....

Correct that is the beauty of football, the difference between winning and losing, the best team game kids can play.

So do Wistrom and Peter and a ton of other Huskers not named Frazier who believe Frost will get it fixed.

The proof is easy to see. Four years as a coach and the record absolutely sux. Nebraska is flat out getting fleeced right now and it's sad.

Well we are all N on Frost. So it's on him to get it fixed. Bitching and moaning ain't gonna help. Be patient and ride it out. He will right the ship.

There is a few players who blame Frost for the Lawrence Phillips situation. Many guys who were close with Phillips don’t like Frost and blame him for some things. This is just what I heard last night. Makes sense

Lawrence Phillips was his own problem, and he himself made his troubles.

Tommie... We need to grab up a Dwayne Haskins, Justin Fields, or Dorian Thompson-Robinson (UCLA) kind of quarterback to go along with what we already have on the roster like Luke McCaffrey. Coach Frost needs to Urban-Meyer up some ... and add a J.T. Barrett type QB to help bring Nebraska back the way Ohio State is right now!!!

Look at Ohio State right now!!! They look like Nebraska years ago. I love Luke McCaffrey...and his brother is in the NFL. But finding an explosive QB like what I have mentioned cannot hurt.

Thanks for the memories, Tommie Frazier and Scott Frost!!!! I am for both guys here in this discussion, former star player and another star player and current coach.

Yes. He was. But doesn’t mean some former teammates don’t blame Frost for instigating some things. Or he could have gotten out of the closet and helped a women getting beat.

I think this board needs to take a wait and see attitude when it comes to this team and its needs. Have a feeling that the needs list is going to take on a whole new look before spring and possibly another new look after spring! It is not going to be pretty!

You know what Pelini thought about Frazier.....
Don't know why Frazier was so vocal against not only Pelini, but he didn't support Bill Callahan, former ADs Steve Pederson & Shawn Eichorst nor former coach Mike Riley. Apparently he didn't appreciate their contributions and successes!

So we need to hire the Tommie-gun as QB coach or OC. Right? All problems solved.
