I don't care if we don't get another thing. Just linemen. I would be THRILLED with these guys

If so, queue up Kermit

This is our biggest need right now. Quality linemen. Good news if the weather / forecast holds up.

Rowland tweeted that one of the d lineman wasn't able to make it to Kentucky today. Had to reschedule.

I'm not scared of ND right now. Whose current coach is most likely to be holding the same job 2 yrs from now?

That was always happening. Key will be if he doesn't commit to ND in next few days.
They're getting 6 to 10 inches of snow in what's a pretty average winter day in South Bend. I don't see why anyone would go to that school if they don't visit on a gameday.

Maggard's so busy falling over himself congratulating the Heisman winner he failed to correct this gross error.

Well, he did have his own games to play. He didn't come here during his season either. But am glad for the snow there.

I don't think snowfall influences a Northern kids decision. If that was the case Ohio State and Michigan would have a squad of nobody's. But of course that is easy to say for me since where I live it is sunny and 78 today. Now getting one of those players to Dixie Land is a little different. And doesn't it snow in Kentucky? It did when I attended college there and when I was stationed at Fort Knox those dang tanks were as cold as I ever want to be. Weather probably has little to do with anything when it comes to most recruits. Underline most.

Maggard is a cheerleader, nothing wrong with that.

Not a good source for recruiting info.
You have to give Maggard credit!!! He understands x's & o's as well as Jimmy's & Joe's!!!!!! He is far more informed than posters on this board!!! I should qualify that last statement, "he is more knowledgeable than the vast majority on this board!!!!!

Maggard is not an intelligent or well informed source on any of this. He's out front with his pompons and that's fine, like Robcatt said. Nothing wrong with having an uninformed cheerleader, just don't take his opinion any stronger than you'd take an actual literal cheerleader.

Oh FFS, I hope you are just talking about recruiting because you're talking about a guy whose mantra is "Its not personal, it's personnel."

How in the hell do people interpret Maggard's tweat (facebook post or whatever it was) to be a prediction that there would be commitments?

He also said "chance." As in 'maybe', 'possibly' or 'could be' but not certain. Damned semantics.

But, let's not concern ourselves with facts that keep us from eating our own.
