I just finished watching on Disney Plus and that guy is insane. If you haven't watched it's about rock climber Alex Honnold free climbing almost 3,000 ft tall El Capitan in Yosemite National Park without any safety equipment. For someone like myself who has a fear of heights I just don't get why anyone would do something like that but to each his own.

Just read this article last week about this guy. The strange brain of the worlds greatest solo climber

They ran tests and mri's on him and basically he just doesn't feel fear. The part of your brain that causes you to feel fear doesn't seem to work in him. They aren't sure whether he was born that way or if he just shut it off after doing such scary stuff over the years.

After watching the film I am not certain he feels any emotions. It seems he has a difficult time in expressing his feelings towards his hotty girlfriend too.

It was an impressive feat. His inability to feel fear has to help him pull it off but unfortunately I’m pretty sure we all know how his story ends though.

We watched it live. I had the same feeling that I had when the guy tight roped the Grand Canyon live...I was actually sweating watching both of them. You could put a gun to my head and tell me to do one of them and I would tell you to just shoot me. :victory:

We actually do know how it all ends. He died on Thanksgiving day. You'll be shocked to know that he fell 1000' to his death off a cliff.
