In all honesty if UK loses this weekend, I don't know anyone who would buy tickets to go see NMSU.

And the reasoning behind this thread? Tell me how this helps us?

It doesn't help but it kind of sums up the sad state of UK football. I hate it but it's true. I'd go so far as to say you could easily get a free ticket if you wait till game time and start a friendly conversation with UK fans as they're walking into the game before kickoff. Things are really out of whack right now.

Sorry, but I am not buying that. What I have seen here is a complete overreaction to losing a game against a team that was ranked HIGHER than us. Should we have won being up 35-10? Absolutely but it's one game, we have 11 more. I find it hard to believe that a season ticket holder would invest money only to bail after the first game. It's a long season, why try to make it longer by being negative all the time. You guys think these players didnt want to win? If you stayed after the game and saw the tears, the heartache, the overwhelming feeling of letting down the entire BBN on the faces of these guys, you could never think that. Who puts the time limit on building a program? People praise Coach Brooks and I love the man but in his time here our non conference schedule was cupcake city. Even the year we beat LSU we wound up 3-5 in conference. My point being, you dont burn down the house right before you move in just because it didn't get built fast enough. Have some patience and think positive. Amazing how much better you and the team would feel. Those guys are back to work, hopefully fixing the mistakes and getting better.

I'm hearing possible $5-$10 tickets for NMS from UK ticket office

I hope beyond hope that you're right. I don't want anyone to think I WANT to see this thing implode. I've been a UK fan for as long as I can remember. But I have been given free tickets as I explained many times. I didn't make that up. I tried that a lot when I was much younger and maybe some fans that had one (or more) too many drinks felt generous and offered me a ticket. Regardless, I certainly want this team to succeed. Emotional players and fired up coaches certainly beat those who don't seem to care but that still doesn't put points on the scoreboard. The jury may still be out but the leash is getting much shorter from the fans' perspective.
