Why is it that Pike can't get these guys into games. We really need more depth and bodies out there. They need game experience to get better.

Possible he got too caught up in the rankings?

Focusing a little too much on winning the game in front of him and not looking at the bigger picture?

Also 6 days in between games so he figured he can play the main guys a lot of minutes.. trying to get as many wins early in the B1G season

1. Loss of several pre-season games.
2. Unlike past seasons when we had to force-feed freshmen as they were better than the upperclassmen, we don't have to here. We have the ability to ease them into it.
3. We recruited 4 front-court players--they take more time to get adjusted. The highly touted freshmen on Illinois, Miller, has struggled.
4. I think 1-2 will emerge as contributing backups with regular minutes by mid-Feb.
