I’m back to wondering if a) Brandon Newman will enter the portal, and b) if we’d be a potential landing spot for him. He was invisible for the back half of the season, reappeared and scored 12 against us in Indy, then went back to being invisible (and didn’t see the floor tonight). I’d love to see him in blue and white next year, and he’s got the relationship with coach Shrewsberry.

Nate Watson has done almost nothing in March. Invisible in the Big East Tournament and very little in the first two rounds and no impact tonight. Their best shooters, Horchler, Reeves, Durham have shot terrible tonight.

I'm a little disappointed, I want all the (real) Big East teams to make deep runs. PC is my second team from back when I lived in Rhode Island.

7’4”, blocks shots, and arguably the best rebounder in the country. He’ll obviously land somewhere, but his offensive game is certainly a work in progress.

He plays about 20 minutes/game due to the fact that Painter refuses to play him with Williams…on a tempo free basis, he’s the #1 offensive rebounder in the country. 23rd best defensive rebounder.

The UCLA - UNC game is really good. Almost seems like whoever has the last possession will win, as neither team seems to be able to hold a lead, or to get a comfortable lead.

UNC scored on 3 straight possessions, while UCLA missed on 2 possessions. UCLA finally scored, but now trail 69-66 with 9.6 sec. left.
