Government should never be involved with medical decisions. we've seen how the war on drugs has failed miserably.
locally here in WV, you have the state government idiots trying to make opioids impossible to prescribe even for people who need them yet wonder why illicit heroin use has increased.
Opioids is a double edged sword ...
So many dr's prescribed them when not needed for years , now they put to many restrictions on them.

Some Doctors (pain mill docs) wrote them for people with no illness or damage to their body for the cash, but no one should live in constant pain (it even goes against your Hippocratic oath as a physician), especially when the PT, epidural injections with the steroids(biggest financial waste to insurance companies since treatment does not have a high success rate and if it does, it may last 1-2 months), surgery, and other conservative means have been tried.
I’m excited for medical marijuana to be finally passed in WV, but they’ve been dragging their *** to start the process. Hopefully they put a rush on the registration process. Hopefully this will ease up the prescribing limits on doctors who truly want to help those who suffer.
Also, the pharmacist should learn their role. It’s not to play doctor and act like you know more about the patient than the physician does. I’d love to see a pharmacist around here explain why they would refuse this prescription.

Appears this "frontline doctor" thing may have been a big lie. Will be interesting to see what comes of it.
You know hydroxychloroquine works by how they they are lying about it and fighting its use. A couple of months ago my wife was given a prescription for it but our idiot governor, put a hold on all use. Luckily we were able to get it through Tricare.
