so many posts all season comparing our failures starting 4 frosh to Duke’s huge success with 3 freshman starters. Most of these blasted Pike for coaching ineptitude.

Watching Duke in the tournament, there’s no
comparison. Their frosh are already men among men. All 3 are incredible players, the best 3 players on the court, and likely top 10 in the draft. Maluach, at 7’2” is a beast. Put him on Rutgers this past season in place of Sommerville, with all our other worts, and we go far in the tourney.

Big fan of Flagg. Hard to believe he should be finishing up his senior year in high school.
Impressive that they've got Mgongba backing up Maluach at center.

Harper was a man among men, and Ace is a lottery pick. We were three games under .500. The "coaching ineptitude" characterization is pretty accurate.

Malauch's talents would have been squandered here.

Roster management is the root of the issue with the RU bball team this year. He absolutely needed a viable center to compete and he failed at that. IMHO.
