I'm betting it was, "Scott, I like you and believe in you, but this isn't working. Bring me a detailed plan on your vision for the program, what you're going to do to get there, who you're willing to give up and what you're willing to give up, and we'll see if it makes sense to keep you here."

Scott: "A lot of teams would be thrilled to have three wins right now."
Trev: "You are right. Rather than fire you, I am going to work on restructuring your contract."
Scott: "Thanks, that way I can get back to recruiting the nation's 78th best class."
Trev: "What do you think about firing a few assistants, just to get the fans off of our back."
Scott: "That sounds positively swell."
Trev: "We still on for happy hour tonight?"
